Irene W. Kamau is a seasoned Program Specialist with 7+ years of experience in both the humanitarian and social impact sectors. She is passionate about advocating for vulnerable communities, advancing gender equity, climate resilience, inclusive and sustainable development. She thrives in mission-driven environments and is committed to advancing initiatives that empower under-served communities. Irene has worked extensively across East and Southern Africa, supporting teams in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Africa. Irene’s expertise spans program and project management, stakeholder engagement, impact monitoring, training and facilitation, and strategic process optimization. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management at Kenyatta University. She is also undertaking a certification in Data Analytics to strengthen her technical and analytical capabilities.
