IRD Lottery Autofiller ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by Giri Soft. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Information We Collect
Payer Profile Information: When you set up your profile, the App collects and stores your full name, mobile number, address, PAN number, and (optionally) email address. This information is used to automatically fill your details into the official Nepal Inland Revenue Department (IRD) prize lottery portal (prize.ird.gov.np) so you don't have to type it manually each time.
Receipt Photos and Bill Data: When you scan a VAT or tax receipt, the App captures a photo of the bill and sends it to our secure backend, which uses AI to extract billing details such as seller PAN, seller name, invoice number and date, and total, taxable, and VAT amounts. This extraction is a core function of the App and is required for the App to work.
Device Identifier: The App creates an anonymous device identifier to associate your data in our cloud systems. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity by us.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to auto-fill your payer and bill details into the official IRD lottery portal, extract and verify bill details from photos you submit, maintain your submission history and prevent duplicate lottery entries, and improve the accuracy and performance of our receipt-scanning and autofill features.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored locally on your device and is also backed up to our cloud infrastructure so it can be restored if you reinstall the App. All data sent to our backend is encrypted in transit.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Receipt photos are processed by a third-party AI service through our own backend, acting as a service provider on our behalf, solely to extract bill details for you.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete individual scanned bills at any time from the History screen within the App. To request deletion of any other data we hold about you, contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
