Ipromise is a 45-day self-promise challenge app. Core challenge data and proof photos are stored locally on your device. Limited analytics data is sent to Mixpanel as described below.
Ipromise may store the following data on your device:
Your name
Onboarding progress
Selected promises
Challenge start dates and completion progress
Daily proof image paths stored by the app
Proof images copied into the app's private storage when you choose to add them
Achievements and completed challenge history
App-session counters, such as open count and last-open time
If you choose to add proof using the camera or gallery, Ipromise accesses that image so it can save a copy in the app's private storage and display it in your challenge history. Camera and photo access are used only for this proof-photo feature. Proof photos and file paths are not sent to Mixpanel.
Ipromise does not create accounts or provide cloud sync.
On iOS, analytics is disabled until you choose “Allow analytics.” Analytics is optional, the app works normally without it, and you can change your choice at any time using Privacy during onboarding or the “Share optional analytics” switch in Profile. Turning it off stops future analytics events but does not automatically delete events already sent.
We require Mixpanel and any other service provider that handles this data to provide the same or equal protection described in this policy and required by applicable privacy rules.
Ipromise sends pseudonymous analytics data to Mixpanel to understand app usage, challenge progress, feature interactions, and reliability. This may include random app-install identifiers, app and device information, approximate city, region, and country derived from the connection IP address, app sessions, screens viewed, clicks, selections, selected promise identifiers and categories, challenge progress, proof counts, streaks, trust score, achievements, and restart, reset, and proof-workflow actions.
Ipromise does not intentionally send your actual name, proof photos, proof file paths, free-form personal text, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, advertising identifier, IMEI, or hardware serial number. Name length and whether a name changed may be sent, but not the name itself.
Mixpanel processes analytics data on our behalf and may process it in the United States and other countries. We do not sell this data or use it for targeted advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
Ipromise does not include a data export feature.
You can reset your challenge from within the app. Reset removes the active challenge progress and saved proof images while keeping your saved name and completed challenge history. Deleting an individual proof removes the saved image from app storage. Uninstalling the app removes data stored
Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, app-private data may also be included in an Apple device or iCloud backup controlled by Apple.locally on the device.
Resetting or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete analytics already sent to Mixpanel. Analytics may remain according to our Mixpanel project settings, Mixpanel’s contractual terms, and applicable law. For analytics access or deletion requests, contact us using the email below.
