Welcome to Roman & Mya Dog Grooming 🐾

My name is Connie and I run Roman & Mya dog grooming in the ip3 area of Ipswich, Suffolk 

Roman & Mya comes from my two beloved dogs.

Roman the Rottweiler and Mya the Boxer 

They are also the logo, along with the newest addition to my family - lady the Cocker spaniel 🐾

     My love and passion for dogs is truly indescribable. Since I was five years old I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. A dog groomer! 

 I wanted to follow closely in my mum's footsteps, she was a hairdresser but my dream was to do the exact same thing but for dogs! 

I was brought up with parents who bred dogs of the larger breeds such as German shepherds and giant schnauzers, we also owned great Danes. I would practice my grooming skills on all of the dogs, I also worked in boarding kennels from the age of 15, where I also did dog grooming, until I decided to go at it alone. 

I have worked alongside rescues and groomedand fostered   dogs for them ready for their new homes. 

I have dedicated my whole life to studying and caring for dogs  well beyond the grooming table. 

I always aim to work closely with your dog, reading their body language and moving entirely at their pace. 

I offer calm, relaxing one on one grooming making sure every dog is clean, safe and happy in my care and when they leave. 

Roman & Mya dog grooming feel very strongly about one philosophy and that is humanity over vanity 🐾
