This includes everything from cellphones, washing machines, lamps, coffee makers and almost anything you can think of. IoT adds a level of digital intelligence to devices which enable them to communicate real-time data without the involvement of human being and effectively merging the digital and physical worlds.

Our Iot Homecooking helps people who wants to cook by reducing the time and human involvement.

- Desktop research on the most popular recipes.
- Analyse the cooking steps of the selected recipes and concluded the requirements for the system.
- Find new requirements that can be added into the system
- This is done by analyzing its benefit to the system which is the improvement on the time staging analysis.
- Find detailed specifications for the requirements that are already found.
- Developed a model to evaluate whether the system can cook certain recipes

- Conduct desktop research to identify the top 10 meals in Australia.
- Conduct and analyse the field survey data to determine the:
- Common meals cooked by the Australians
- Cooking tools used in the cooking process
- Average cooking duration
- Finalize the best 5 dishes from both desktop research and field survey to be used in the dry-run mock cooking test.
- Determine the recipes and cooking steps for the 5 dishes based on desktop research and real life experience.
- Design conceptual IoT System and its subsystem
- Conduct dry-run mock cooking test and record the time staging for the overall process
- Perform sensitivity analysis on the conceptual IoT System
- Revise the system requirements to further improve the time staging of the overall cooking process.
- Develop 'Time Staging Tool' to easily generate and edit the time staging analysis by using Visual Basic for Application (VBA).

The field survey is done by conducting a face-to-face interview with the Australians. Each member needs to complete 20 surveys to get the overall of 120 surveys.

The team gathers for weekly meetings at 3.00pm to 4.00pm on Wednesdays. This is when the discussion of weekly tasks, team and individual performance are held.

The team will have weekly meetings with the client on every Tuesday at 12.00pm. The meetings will be held in one of the discussion rooms of Hancock Library. Google Drive is used to store all the resources and shared documents. Collaboration is possible through Google Docs, Sheets and Slides as they can be edited online and can be accessed from everywhere.
Whatsapp is our main communication medium. It is a mobile messaging device where everyone in the team have it. All information and updates will be delivered through Whatsapp where sharing of photos, videos and documents can be done easily. The read receipt helps to ensure each team member has successfully received all the information.
