WhatWeather Weather Station
§ 1 Scope of Application
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "Privacy Policy") applies to the use of the WhatWeather Weather Station (hereinafter referred to as "App"), which is developed and offered by kolov.com (hereinafter referred to as "Developer"). The App is available in the Apple App Store.
§ 2 Controller
The controller within the meaning of data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is:

§ 3 Collection and Use of Personal Data
The App collects and uses personal data of the user only to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the contractual obligations. This includes in particular:
The provision of weather data for the locations selected by the user
Communication with the user in connection with the App, initiated by the user (support request)
The App does not use tracking tools such as Google Analytics.
§ 4 Disclosure of Personal Data
The Developer will only disclose personal data of the user to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contractual obligations or if the user has given his consent to such disclosure. The Developer will not sell personal data of the user to third parties or otherwise disclose it for advertising purposes.
§ 5 Data Security
The Developer shall take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the user's personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration or loss.
§ 6 Rights of the Data Subject
The user has the right to:
Request access to the personal data concerning him or her which is processed by the Developer
Rectification of inaccurate personal data
Erasure of his or her personal data, insofar as this is not incompatible with contractual or statutory obligations
Restriction of the processing of his or her personal data
To object to the processing of his or her personal data
To receive his or her personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another controller
The user may exercise these rights by sending an email to the Developer at the email address specified in § 2.
§ 7 Note on Microsoft Azure and OpenWeatherMap
The App accesses services of Microsoft Azure and OpenWeatherMap to provide weather data. These services are subject to their own privacy policies, which you can find on the following websites:

§ 8 Subscription and Identification
For the purchase of an annual subscription, the user does not need to register and remains anonymous to the Developer. The identification of the purchased functions is carried out by a unique ID, which is generated when the App is installed and managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat is a third-party provider responsible for processing in-app purchases and managing subscription information. § 9 Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Developer is entitled to change this Privacy Policy at any time. The changed Privacy Policy will be displayed to the user upon the next use of the App. The user may object to the changed Privacy Policy. If the user objects to the changed Privacy Policy, the Developer may terminate the contract with the user.
§ 10 Final Provisions
This Privacy Policy is subject to German law.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this Privacy Policy is the registered office of the Developer.
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions of this Privacy Policy shall remain in effect. A provision shall be substituted for the invalid provision that comes as close as possible to the meaning and purpose of the invalid provision.
