QR Code Scanner - Make ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

To provide the core functionality of the App (scanning QR codes, saving data, and premium features), we request access to specific permissions on your device. We do not store this data on external servers; it is processed locally on your device.
Camera: We require camera access to scan QR codes, barcodes, and detect visual data patterns using the device's camera.
Photo Library: We access your photo library only when you choose to scan a QR code from an image saved in your gallery or to save generated QR codes/barcodes to your device.
Contacts: We request access to your contacts only if you choose to save a scanned vCard (Virtual Contact File) directly to your device's address book. We do not upload your contact list to any server.
Calendar: We request calendar access to save scanned event details (e.g., meetings, schedules) directly to your personal calendar.
Tracking (App Tracking Transparency): We use identifiers for advertising purposes to show you personalized ads through Google AdMob. You can choose to allow or deny this tracking via the iOS system prompt.
Local Storage: The history of your scanned codes and created codes is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to this data, and it is not synced to our servers.
External Links: If you scan a code containing a URL, the App may open it in your default browser. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and native advertisements. Google may use your device's advertising ID to show personalized ads based on your interests.
Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit): Premium subscriptions and purchases are handled directly by Apple. We do not store or process your credit card or financial information. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status (Premium Active/Inactive).
The App detects specific data types (Phone numbers, Emails, SMS, WiFi).
Phone/SMS/Email: If you tap to call, send an SMS, or email from a scanned code, the action is handed over to your device's native apps. We do not record your calls or messages.
WiFi: If you scan a WiFi QR code, the app displays the SSID and password for you to connect. This data is stored only in your local history.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
