Work in progress
I graduated in 2013 in Germany as a Human- and Molecular Biologist with specialisation in Structural Biology. After national (Germany) and international (Thailand) internships in the biochemical and biotechnological field, I started in 2014 as a structural biologist at the IFOM institute (Istituto FIRC di Oncologia Molecolare) in Milan, where I later entered the SEMM PhD program. During my PhD in pre-clinical cancer research I focused on dietary interventions during breast cancer therapy. After my PhD I traveled around the globe and followed volunteering activities in Italy, Tanzania and Jordan. In 2020 I did my Post Doc at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Milan, studying together with physicists and material scientists the mechanical stimulation of non-excitatory cells.
Since Summer 2024 I work as a wet lab technician in Francesco's group helping with the start-up of his wet lab and supporting our Post Docs with their projects.
