Work in progress
Ludovica obtained a BSc in Biology and a MSc in Genetics and Molecular Biology both at “Sapienza University of Rome”. In 2020 she moved to Vienna and joined the group of Florian Grebien at Vetmeduni Vienna as a PhD student with a project funded by the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions. Her doctoral research focused on the identification of novel leukemia-specific genetic dependencies using functional genomics approaches.
Since May 2024 Ludovica is a fully experimental Postdoctoral fellow in the Iorio group at Human Technopole, where she works on the ERC-funded DepSHOCK project which aims at dissecting the transcriptional regulatory networks underlying the addiction of cancer cells to specific traits, in order to provide new insights into the molecular features and mechanisms that drive cancer.
