Chat Rooms

Never say that you are older then you are because you might get in danger or see inappropriate adverts. Don't tell anyone your address or name, age, bank details, etc. Never play games or anything that requires an age that is older than yourself.

Private Information

Never make your passwords obvious so that they are easy to guess. Keep your passwords secret. Never write them down or tell any of your friends. If you think someone has found out your password, change it immediately. Take control of who sees your stuff: ask an adult to help you change the Privacy Settings on your accounts.

Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying is very mean!

TOP TIPS:

  • If someone you are chatting to is being mean or making you feel uncomfortable, tell an adult that you trust. They will help you block and report anything offensive so that these people can't contact you again .
  • Some of the chat rooms are watched by creators - so report anything bad.

Social Media/Gaming

  • Never let people follow you if you don't know them.
  • If somebody joins you and starts calling you mean names report them and block them
  • Never speak to people you don't know
  • If a gamer you don't know in real life asks you to join them on another game, app or website, don’t reply, and tell an adult you trust
  • Sometimes people that you know may say something mean or inappropriate - DO NOT REPLY - but tell an adult that you trust.
