This AI ethics theme topic focuses on using Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) machine learning tools to create AI companions for human connection, while also addressing the ethical considerations that arise in the design process. The discussion will cover topics such as privacy, autonomy, and consent, and will provide insights on how to balance innovation with ethics. You will hear an expert in AI, machine learning, and ethics sharing their experiences and insights on building ethical AI companions on GCP. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to leverage GCP's machine learning tools for human connection while keeping ethical considerations at the forefront of the design process.

Armielyn Obinguar, an award-winning mentor at FutureLab, AWS Community Builder and she's the AI Communicator for Tensorflow where hosted several technical talks for over 20+ campuses and 5+ countries globally for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
She's also one of Women in AI Ambassadors and Community AI Enthusiasts. She's currently a ML Engineering Senior at Accenture and actively participating on mentoring, speaking engagements and also for the volunteerism outside and inside the organization.
She's also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Google Developer Student Clubs - Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She mainly been involved with product and project led with industry startup partners and also leverage skills and learning development to student across the campuses in the Philippines.
She's aspiring Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning and Google Cloud Platform.
