Description:
Being in your 20s, have you ever felt like you’re not where you thought you would be when you were growing up? It is such an odd and challenging age, where there’s so much pressure to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life, but also feeling the expectation from society to settle down and just make a decision. Believe it or not, it’s such a common experience to feel lost and overwhelmed.
The goal of this therapy card deck, "Getting Out of Feeling Stuck in Your 20s," is to serve as a guide for counselors to use in their sessions or for individuals to use independently to explore their life values. It can be tough to figure out their next step as a new adult; thus, the ultimate purpose of these cards is to help the intended audience look deeper into their core fundamentals.
Guidelines and Directions:
This card deck can be played in various settings, individually or in a group setting. You can start with level one, which focuses on yourself; level two is about different relationships in your life: family, romantic, and platonic. Level three focuses on your career, and finally, level four is where you see yourself in the future. You need to try to be vulnerable with yourself as much as you can, as this is how you're able to get to know yourself fully. Get a pencil and paper to write down your thoughts and ideas when answering these questions.
Finally, try to have fun while answering these questions because it's supposed to help you, not make you more stressed ;).
