Privacy Policy
Invozy ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile invoicing and billing application developed for small businesses and
retailers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is
stored, and your rights regarding that data.
Key principle: All your business data stays on your device. Invozy does not transmit your business data, customer
information, or receipts to any external server owned or operated by us.
Invozy stores the following data locally on your device using secure on-device storage:
- Business Profile: Shop name, owner name, contact number, address, GST/tax number, UPI ID, logo image, and display
preferences.
- Customer Records: Customer names, phone numbers, addresses, visit counts, and spending history.
- Receipts: Receipt numbers, dates, line items with product details and images, payment amounts, payment modes,
payment status, and notes.
- App Preferences: Theme (light/dark/system), currency, language, receipt template, and preset item lists.
- Pro/Subscription Status: Whether you are on a free or Pro plan, and trial or subscription expiry dates.
None of this data is transmitted to our servers or any third party by Invozy. It exists only on your device.
Invozy does not collect or transmit:
- Your name, email address, precise location, or IP address.
- Any analytics or behavioural tracking data (we do not use Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, or similar SDKs).
- Account credentials — the app requires no login or account registration.
- Your receipt or customer data — it never leaves your device via our systems.
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Invozy requests camera and photo library permissions solely to:
- Attach product images to receipt line items.
- Upload your business logo for use on receipts and PDFs.
All images are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external server. These permissions are
optional — you can deny them and still use all other features of the app.
Free-tier users see advertisements served by Google AdMob. As required by Google Play's Data Safety policy, we
disclose that the AdMob SDK may automatically collect the following data on behalf of Google:
- Device advertising identifier (GAID on Android / IDFA on iOS).
- Approximate device information: device type, OS version, screen size, and language.
- Ad interaction data: impressions, clicks, and ad performance signals.
- IP address (used by Google for approximate geolocation and fraud prevention).
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Invozy does not receive, store, or have access to this advertising data.
Pro users do not see ads, and the AdMob SDK does not collect advertising data for them.
Invozy lets you export your data as JSON or CSV files. When you export:
- Files are generated entirely on your device.
- You choose where to save or share them (local storage, email, cloud apps, etc.).
- Invozy does not transmit exported files to any server.
- Product images are excluded from exports to keep file sizes manageable.
You can also import a previously exported JSON backup to restore your data. Imported records are merged with your
existing on-device data.
When you share a receipt via WhatsApp, SMS, or email, Invozy generates the receipt content locally and opens the
respective third-party app on your device. The actual transmission of the message or file is handled entirely by those
third-party apps — not by Invozy. We only store a local "sent" flag on the receipt record to indicate it was shared.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Delete individual receipts or customer records from within the app.
- Clear all app data via your device Settings > Apps > Invozy > Clear Data.
- Uninstall the app, which permanently removes all locally stored data.
Because your data is never sent to our servers, we hold no copy of it and cannot recover deleted data on your behalf.
Invozy is a business productivity tool intended for users aged 13 and above. The app is not directed at children under
13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the
app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The "Last updated"
date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Invozy after any changes constitutes your
acceptance of the updated policy.
