Please include your device model and iOS or Android version. If something looks wrong on an invoice, a screenshot of the invoice and of the line items saves a lot of back and forth.
GETTING STARTED
1. Settings › Business Info — enter at least your business name. This is what appears at the top of every invoice. Add your address, tax ID, phone and email while you are there, plus a default sales tax rate and payment terms if you use the same ones most of the time.
2. Settings › Invoice Template — add your logo, pick an accent color, and tap "Create Sample PDF" to see exactly how your invoices will print.
3. Clients › + — add a customer.
4. Docs › + — create your first invoice, then tap Share PDF.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Where is my data?
On this phone, in the app's own private storage. Nothing is uploaded.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. There is no sign-in, and every feature except sharing works with the phone in airplane mode.
Can I use it on two devices, or on my computer?
Not yet. There is no sync and no web version. Records live on one device.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your records are gone unless your device backup includes the app. Turn on iCloud Backup or your Android backup and leave it on. Export and restore is planned but is not in this version.
How do I set a sales tax rate?
Per line item, in the Tax % field — pick a common rate from the dropdown or type your own, including decimals like 8.25. To stop retyping it, set Default sales tax % in Settings › Business Info; every new line item starts from that.
Some of my items are taxable and some aren't.
Set the tax rate to 0 on the ones that aren't. The invoice will show the taxed and untaxed amounts separately, and the total tax underneath.
How does invoice numbering work?
Each document type has its own counter, restarted each year — INV-2026-0001, EST-2026-0001 and so on. A number is only used when you actually save, so opening a form and backing out never leaves a gap. You can change the prefix, digit count and next number in Settings › Document Numbering.
I took one check that covers three invoices.
Go to Payments, tap the customer, then Record Payment. Enter the total. The app applies it to their open invoices oldest first and shows you the exact split before saving. If the amount is more than they owe, the extra is reported back to you rather than overpaying an invoice.
Can customers pay inside the app?
No. If you add a PayPal.me username in Settings › Invoice Template, the app can send them a payment link with the amount filled in, but it cannot detect that they paid — you record the payment yourself.
Can I turn an accepted estimate into an invoice?
Not in this version. It is the next feature on the list.
Can I delete a customer?
Only if they have no documents. This is deliberate: deleting a customer who has invoices would break your reports and your records. Delete their documents first if you really mean to.
Why can't I edit an old invoice's customer details by editing the customer?
An invoice is a record of what you sent. The customer's name, address and tax ID are copied onto the invoice when you save it, so correcting a typo in a customer today never silently rewrites an invoice you sent last year. Edit the invoice itself if you need to change it.
Does it handle currencies other than dollars?
The app is set up for US billing — dollars, 1,234.56, MM/DD/YYYY. Other currencies are not selectable in this version.
