This Privacy Policy describes how Invoice Maker Estimate Billing ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Information You Provide
When you use the App, you may provide the following information:
- Business Information: Business name, email address, phone number, and postal address that you enter in your business profile.
- Client Information: Client names, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses that you add to your client directory.
- Invoice and Estimate Data: Invoice numbers, estimate numbers, line items, prices, quantities, tax rates, discounts, dates, and payment statuses.
- Items and Services: Product and service names, prices, quantities, tax rates, and discount rates stored in your item catalog.
- Images: Business logo images and digital signature drawings that you upload or create within the App.
B. Information Collected Automatically
If you choose to subscribe to our premium features, purchase transactions are processed through Apple's App Store and our subscription management partner, RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data to verify your subscription status. We do not directly collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers. C. Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:
- Personal names or usernames beyond what you voluntarily enter in your business profile
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Device identifiers for tracking or advertising purposes
- Browsing history or data from other apps
- Contacts, calendar, or health data
- Financial account information, bank details, or payment card numbers
Our App does not request access to the device camera, microphone, contacts, location services, or any other sensitive device permissions. The only optional permission is photo library access for uploading a business logo.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do NOT integrate any of the following:
- No advertising networks or ad SDKs
- No analytics or tracking services
- No social media integrations
- No crash reporting services
- No cloud storage or syncing services
All your data stays on your device. We have no way to access, view, or retrieve your locally stored information.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
The information you provide is used solely to:
- Generate invoices, estimates, and PDF documents within the App
- Display your business profile information on invoices and estimates
- Manage your client directory and item catalog
- Send local push notification reminders for unpaid invoices (only if you enable this feature)
- Verify your subscription status through RevenueCat
We do NOT use any collected information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the invoicing experience within the App.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
A. RevenueCat (Subscription Management)
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. When a purchase is made through the App Store, RevenueCat processes:
- Subscription status and entitlement information
- App Store purchase receipts
- Anonymous transaction identifiers

B. Apple App Store
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Apple's privacy practices govern the handling of payment information. For more details, see Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/privacy.
5. ADVERTISING
Our App does NOT display any advertisements. We do not integrate any advertising SDKs or networks. We do not serve ads to free or Pro users.
6. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All user data (invoices, estimates, client information, business profiles, items, logos, and signatures) is stored locally on the device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:
- Remains on the device at all times
- Is not transmitted to any external server
- Is not backed up to any cloud service by our App
- Is protected by the device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
The only data transmitted externally is subscription-related information sent to RevenueCat and Apple for purchase verification, which contains no personal business data.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Data persists as long as the App is installed
- You can delete individual invoices, estimates, clients, and items at any time within the App
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data
- There is no account to delete because we do not create user accounts
- We do not retain any of your data on our servers
- Subscription data managed by RevenueCat and Apple follows their respective retention policies
8. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
The App may request permission to send local push notifications for payment reminders. These notifications are:
- Generated and delivered entirely on your device
- Not sent to or processed by our servers
- Fully controllable through your device's Settings
You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Access all your data directly within the App
- Edit or update your business profile, client information, and document data at any time
- Delete any data stored within the App
- Disable push notifications through your device's Settings
- Request information about how your data is used by contacting us
Since we do not collect personal information on external servers, there is no personal data to request access to, correct, or delete beyond what is stored locally on your device.
11. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Our App is available internationally. Regardless of your location, the same privacy protections apply. All data is stored locally on your device. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws:
- We process minimal data based on the legitimate interest of providing the invoicing service
- No personal data is transferred to external servers
- You may exercise your rights under applicable law by contacting us
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
