InvoiceDrop ("the extension"), published by KH Tools, is a Chrome extension that downloads the invoices and receipts of your own AliExpress orders. This policy explains what the extension does with your information.
The short version
InvoiceDrop does not collect, store on any server, sell or share your data. It has no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Everything happens inside your browser.
What the extension accesses
When you start a download, InvoiceDrop opens your AliExpress Orders page and the Order details page of each matching order in a browser tab. It reads only what it needs from these pages:
• order number, order date, order status, store name and order total, to decide which invoices to download and to name the files;
• the invoice PDF or receipt image that AliExpress provides when its download button is pressed.
It does this only on aliexpress.com / aliexpress.us pages, and only while a download you started is running. In addition, when you open your AliExpress Orders page, InvoiceDrop reads the order number, date and status of the orders shown there to add a "Get invoice" button to each eligible order (you can turn this off in Settings).
What is stored, and where
The following is saved locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage:
• your settings (save location, file-name pattern, speed and similar options);
• the progress and results of your most recent download run (order numbers, dates, statuses, store names, totals and file names), so a run can be resumed;
• a list of order numbers whose invoices were already downloaded, so they aren't downloaded twice;
• copies of the invoices and receipts it downloaded, so they can be combined into one PDF when you ask for it;
• your light or dark theme choice.
Invoices, receipts, combined PDFs and CSV reports are saved to your computer's Downloads folder, or to a folder you choose in Settings. When you choose a folder, Chrome asks your permission and InvoiceDrop only writes its own files there; it does not read anything else in that folder.
You can delete the history in Settings → History → Clear history, and remove everything by uninstalling the extension.
What is shared
Nothing. InvoiceDrop makes no network requests of its own apart from loading your AliExpress pages and invoices. It does not send data to the developer or to any third party.
If you email support, only what you choose to send is shared. The "Email us" button adds the InvoiceDrop and Chrome version to the draft so we can help faster; you can delete it before sending.
Permissions
• downloads: save invoices, receipts, the combined PDF and CSV reports to your computer.
• storage: keep your settings, run progress and download history on your device.
• scripting: run the extension's own scripts on your AliExpress order pages to read orders and press "Download invoice".
• notifications: tell you when a run finishes or needs your attention (can be turned off).
• offscreen: a hidden extension page that merges invoices into one PDF and writes files to a folder you picked.
• Access to aliexpress.com / aliexpress.us: open your order pages and download invoices.
Children
InvoiceDrop is not directed at children and does not knowingly process children's data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
