THE SHORT VERSION

Invoice Offline does not collect anything about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server. Every invoice, customer and payment you enter is stored in a database file on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

We have no way to see your data, because it never reaches us.

WHAT THE APP STORES, AND WHERE

Everything you type into the app — your business details, customers, contacts, products, invoices, estimates, payments, notes, attached photos and documents, and any job-site location you choose to save — is written to a private database and file store inside the app's own sandbox on your device.

This data:

• is not uploaded anywhere,

• is not shared with us or with any third party,

• is included in your device's own backup if you have one enabled (iCloud Backup on iOS, or your Android backup provider), which is between you and Apple or Google, not us,

• is permanently deleted when you delete the app.

PERMISSIONS THE APP ASKS FOR, AND WHY

Each of these is optional. The app works without them; you will only be asked when you tap the feature that needs one.

Location (while using the app). Only read at the moment you tap "Use Current Location" on a customer record, so you can save a job-site address. The coordinates are stored locally on the device with that customer. Location is never read in the background, never tracked over time, and never transmitted.

Camera. Only used when you choose to photograph a document, a job site or a product. The photo is stored locally and attached to that record.

Photo library. Only used when you pick an existing image or file to attach, or to set your invoice logo. The app reads the file you select and nothing else.

WHEN INFORMATION LEAVES THE DEVICE — ALWAYS BECAUSE YOU ASKED

The app has no networking code of its own. Data can only leave your device through an action you take:

• Sharing or printing a PDF. When you tap Share, your operating system's share sheet opens and you choose where the invoice goes — email, messages, a cloud drive, a printer. That destination is your choice and its own privacy policy applies.

• Opening a map. Tapping "Open in Maps" hands the saved coordinates to your maps app.

• Tapping a phone number. This hands the number to your phone app.

• Sending a PayPal.me payment link. If you have entered a PayPal.me username, the app can compose a link containing the amount and your username, which you then send to your customer yourself. The app does not contact PayPal and cannot see whether the customer paid. PayPal's own privacy policy applies to anything that happens on their site.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

• No accounts, sign-in, or email collection

• No analytics, crash reporting, telemetry or usage tracking

• No advertising and no advertising identifiers

• No third-party SDKs that collect data

• No selling or sharing of personal information — we hold none to sell

• No cookies or web tracking

Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete on your behalf under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You can exercise complete control yourself: the data is on your device, and deleting the app deletes it.

YOUR CUSTOMERS' INFORMATION

Whatever you enter about your customers stays on your device under your control. You are the one responsible for that information under any law that applies to your business. We never receive it.

CHILDREN

Invoice Offline is a business tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

BACKUPS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Because there is no cloud sync, the app cannot restore your records if your device is lost, wiped or damaged. Keep your device backup turned on.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If a future version of the app adds a feature that changes any of the above, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change.
