White Hawk

It's not an eagle or an owl!

Many of you have seen a large white bird screaming over Inver Hills campus over the last two years. It is s a Leucistic Red-Tailed Hawk, a rare genetic variant. It's mate, who's equally vocal, is normal colored and can be seen flying in tandem, claiming the campus. Since everyone has been talking about them, the white hawk has become the unofficial mascot of the Inver-Metro Garden.
