Introvert Diary ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may collect, how it is used, and what choices you have.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Introvert Diary is a personal journaling app that allows you to create one note per day. Notes may include text and, if you choose, a photo selected from your device's photo library.
The App may store the following content that you choose to add:
journal text entries;
photos selected from your photo library;
the date and time associated with your entry.
This content is stored locally on your device.
If you choose to attach a photo to an entry, the App requests access to your photo library. The App only accesses photos you choose to provide.
We do not access your entire photo library beyond the permission granted by iOS and your selected content.
The App uses Firebase Analytics provided by Google to understand how the App is used and to improve performance and user experience.
Depending on your device and settings, analytics data may include information such as:
app interactions and usage events;
device and app information;
approximate geographic information such as country or region;
identifiers used for analytics;
crash or diagnostic-related metadata if provided by platform or SDK behavior.
We use information for the following purposes:
to let you create, display, edit, and delete your diary entries;
to allow you to attach a photo to an entry if you choose;
to understand app usage and improve the App;
to maintain app stability, reliability, and performance;
to respond if you contact us.
Your journal content is stored locally on your device using local device storage.
We do not currently provide account registration, cloud backup, or our own remote server for storing your diary entries.
Analytics data collected through Firebase may be processed and stored by Google in accordance with Firebase and Google policies.
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share your diary text or selected photos with third parties except as necessary for the App to function on your device.
We may share limited technical and analytics information with service providers that help us operate and improve the App, including:

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
The App is designed so that diary entries are temporary. Based on the App's current logic, entries are removed after the relevant daily period expires according to the app's current implementation.
Locally stored data may also be removed if:
you delete an entry;
you delete the App from your device;
the App clears expired local content.
Analytics data retention is managed by Firebase / Google according to their applicable settings and policies.
You can:
choose whether to create an entry;
choose whether to attach a photo;
deny photo library access in iOS settings;
delete the App and its local data from your device;
limit certain analytics settings through your device settings, where available.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.
If you use the App from outside the country where the developer is located, your information may be processed in other countries through third-party services such as Google Firebase.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to:
request access to personal data;
request correction or deletion;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Because most diary content is stored locally on your device and not on our own servers, many privacy requests regarding diary content can be handled directly by deleting the content or deleting the App from your device.

We take reasonable steps to protect information used by the App. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
