Racer Requirements
All racers will be required to sign a waiver and be 18 years or older or have a present parent or guardian. Racers will pay a $10 entry fee to race, CASH ONLY. SPEC class will be free to enter.
Racers are allowed to compete in one general ESKATE class along with the SPEC class if they so choose.
Racers are required to wear a DOT level helmet or above while racing. Protec, TSG Pass etc will not be allowed to race. Spine, elbow, knee protection are required. Anything above this in safety equipment is encouraged and allowed including chest, gloves, crash shorts, neck braces etc. Your safety is your responsibility.
Qualifying Session
Best of 2 laps, single racer on track.
All ESKATE and SPEC racers will qualify the same way.
Three stopwatches will be run by three Officials. Time will be common average of the three recorded times.
Racers will enter at the halfway point of the track, providing them the ability to start their first timed lap at speed as they cross the starting line. Racer will complete two laps and then exit the track. Time will be recorded by officials and posted.
Three classes will be formed using the qualifying times. Classes will be evenly split in thirds.
ESKATE Classes
Number of racers in each heat will be determined based on total amount of racers.
Currently all racers of a class will compete in every heat. This is subject to change depending on number of racers. If we need to divide into separate heats due to a higher than expected amount of racers we will use position racers into A/B groups amongst their class. All racers will still race in two heats before finals.
Amount of racers knocked out before heading to finals will be determined on race day depending on total number of racers.
