Sophia Whicher is the Director of Community Programs at Being and Becoming: A Community for the Curious, a public philosophy non-profit organization. She recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s in Philosophy, and she is particularly passionate about accessible education, community-building, social justice, and all things love-related. Misha Glouberman is the host of the Trampoline Hall Lecture Series, sometimes-host of live music karaoke nights at Jean Darlene Piano Room, and co-author with Sheila Heti of The Chairs Are Where The People Go. He runs Toronto Event Generator, a project to make Toronto more fun and a better place to meet people. He works as a management consultant helping teams work together in ways that are more human and effective. Find him on instagram and elsewhere.
Heidi Knechtel is a graduate student at the University of Toronto. Her research interests are in the philosophy of love and sexuality, and she works in sexual health education at the Sex Education Centre at the University of Toronto and Western University. Her aim as an educator is to guide learners in ways of thinking that can be intimidating and to support individuals as they navigate questions that impact how they view and live in the world.
