At IntervPrep, accessible from our App Store listing, your privacy is our highest priority. Because our app is engineered from the ground up to respect your personal data, this Privacy Policy outlines our data practices:
1. Information We Do Not Collect
No Accounts or Registration: IntervPrep requires no sign-up, login, email address, or personal profile creation.
No Cloud Storage of Personal Content: We do not collect, store, or transmit your resume contents, job descriptions, or interview audio recordings to any external servers or cloud databases.
2. How On-Device Processing Works
Apple Intelligence & Core ML: IntervPrep utilizes Apple’s on-device machine learning frameworks to generate interview questions and evaluate responses locally on your hardware.
Resume & Job Description Parsing: If you optionally choose to upload a resume (PDF/DOCX) or paste a job description, these files are read and processed entirely on your device for the sole purpose of customizing your active mock interview session. They are never uploaded to a third-party server.
Voice and Speech Recognition: Voice inputs and audio transcriptions are processed locally using standard iOS speech recognition APIs. Audio is evaluated in real-time and immediately discarded.
3. In-App Purchases and Third-Party Service Providers
Apple In-App Purchases: All subscription purchases and billing transactions are processed directly by Apple via your Apple ID account. We do not access or store your financial or credit card information.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements, validate purchase receipts, and restore purchases. RevenueCat collects and processes anonymous device/user identifiers and transaction timestamps solely for app functionality (ensuring your subscription features are active). No Tracking or Advertising: We do not integrate advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or data brokers.
4. Children’s Privacy Our app does not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
