Internet Breadcrumbs is a browser extension that allows users to place private sticky notes on websites and have those notes reappear when they return.
Internet Breadcrumbs may access the following information only as needed to provide its core functionality:
The URL of the webpage you are currently visiting
The website domain
The page title
Sticky note content that you create
Note metadata such as position, size, tags, and timestamps
Internet Breadcrumbs does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, passwords, payment information, health information, or precise location.
The information accessed by Internet Breadcrumbs is used only to:
Associate sticky notes with specific webpages or websites
Restore your notes when you return to those pages
Display the number of relevant notes for the current page
Organize your saved Breadcrumbs inside the extension
Your data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
Internet Breadcrumbs stores your Breadcrumbs using Chrome extension storage on your device.
The extension does not require an account.
The extension does not send your sticky notes or browsing information to an external server.
Internet Breadcrumbs does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Internet Breadcrumbs does not transfer user data to third parties except where required by law.
Internet Breadcrumbs needs access to the current page URL and domain in order to determine whether a saved Breadcrumb belongs to the webpage you are visiting.
This information is used only for the extension’s core note-matching functionality.
Internet Breadcrumbs does not build a separate browsing history profile and does not send your browsing history to an external server.
Internet Breadcrumbs may inject its sticky-note interface into webpages so users can create, edit, move, resize, and display Breadcrumbs.
The extension does not collect or transmit the contents of webpages for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Internet Breadcrumbs does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or external tracking services.
Your Breadcrumbs remain stored on your device until you delete them, clear extension storage, or uninstall the extension.
Internet Breadcrumbs is designed to minimize data collection and keep user-created notes local to the device.
No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, but the extension does not intentionally transmit your Breadcrumb data to external servers.
Internet Breadcrumbs is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
