Participants from diverse nationalities around the world compete in this global music competition.
First Round Awards (Absolute Evaluation)
Based on the average score, awards will be given as follows:
Grand Prize: 95 points or higher
First Prize: 90 points or higher
Second Prize: 85 points or higher
Third Prize: 80 points or higher
Encouragement Prize: 60 points or higher
Below 60 points: disqualified

Judging Panel and Evaluation System
The jury consists of current professors and instructors who graduated from arts middle/high schools and Universities, as well as overseas-trained music professionals.
Fairness is ensured through non face-to-face (online) judging, using a system that prevents any prior consultation among the judges.

Competition Divisions
The following categories are open to both majors and non-majors
Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High school students (including Homeschool), University, Adult Division(including Graduate students), Senior divisions(Aged 60 and over).
Classical Music
Piano, Vocal, Strings, Winds, Percussion, Composition, Conducting, and Ensemble
(e.g., Piano four hands, String quartet, etc.) All instruments are eligible; there are no restrictions on instrument type.
Applied Music
Vocal, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, Composition & Producing, Ensemble
All other applied music genres are eligible; no restrictions.
All instruments are eligible; there are no restrictions on instrument type.
Crossover & Korean traditional music
Korean traditional instruments, Pansori / Folk songs, Creative Korean music, Fusion / Crossover, World music / Fusion ensemble
Competition Piece
One free-choice piece recorded within the past year, 10–15 minutes maximum
Repeats are not necessary for classical music category.
