Information

A French dub first aired on Canal+ on August 21, 1992, replacing the timeslot of The Simpsons. The first season aired until August 28 of the same year, and wasn't seen again on the channel until a year later, in August 1993. This time, only two episodes were aired. The second season began airing on July 2, 1994, and ended on August 27, 1994, marking the final time the show was aired on the channel. It was broadcast on Télétoon+ from 2000 to 2001. It also aired on Télétoon in Canada from March 4, 1998 to 2001. It also aired on Game One from 2006 to January 4, 2008, Canal+ Horizons (now Canal+ Afrique) in Africa around 2000, 2M in Morocco around 2002 and Canal Algérie (now TV2) in Algeria.

After 23 years off the air, the dub began airing on Nickelodeon France on August 2, 2024 with the first three episodes. These airings lack the localization present in previous airings of the show. Bizarrely, despite being recent, hardly anything from Nickelodeon's airings have ever resurfaced, not even the idents. This marks the first instance of lost media involving the Splat Zone branding. By 2025, the show stopped airing on the network. It would also air on Comedy Central France on September 9, 2024 to around 2025.

This show marks the first dubbing work of French celebrity Henri Guybet, who voiced Stimpy in this dub.

The episode "Haunted House" was uploaded to the website "ok.ru" but it no longer exists, two promos from Télétoon have been found as well. Two other episodes, "A Visit to Anthony" from season 2 and "Stimpy's Cartoon Show" from season 3 have also been found.

A Google Sites website included links to nearly all episodes of the dub, sourced from Nickelodeon France airings, though some links have been removed but others remain.
