So Kane Williamson get's slotted in over a few other guys who I probably didn't consider enough because they are / were too recent -- guys like Michael Clarke who'd surely be in the top 10, Khoil would be in the mix too as an example. But I included Williamson despite him still playing simply for what he has done to the game in New Zealand, he's the best bloke in World Cricket, he's a hell of a batsman, he's got zero ego, oh and he's a pretty okay captain too, I don't think there is a team in World Cricket who wouldn't have Williamson!Jardine is probably controversial and sure he didn't have enough games, and sure he nearly started a war, and he was a massive cock head! But he beat cricket, he singled handedly created a means of playing cricket that was practically unbeatable, and he employed it with ruthless and reckless abandon, and he did the impossible, he did what no one prior or since could do he for one brief moment beat Bradman. Sure hate him as a person, hate what he did but Jardine was (ironically like Bradman, years ahead of his time). A genuine student of the game, and like many a victim of his own genius.
