I purchased 2 Intel 6200 advanced-N AGN wifi cards to replace the stock card in my HP pavilion g6 2299ea, simply for the 5GHz capability. Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN is the name of my wireless adapter, which keeps automatically disconnecting on me. i have tried many common solutions i.e. driver update, wireless settings, advanced adapter configuration, wireless utility...nothing helps. is there a way to set the adapter to be 'always on'? or is there some reason why the adapter keeps shutting off on me? any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!

We are having big problems just with this particular adapter in our environment. We are getting intermittent dropouts. The connection will freeze and stop responding to the point where you have to do a windows repair or restart the adapter to get it working again.
