Description: A re-examination of elementary geometry using concepts from analysis and algebra. Mathematical topics integrate the study of the historical development of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometries, including contributions from diverse cultures.
Textbook: Kiselev's Geometry (Book I, Planimetry)
Exams:
Midterm: Oct. 8th (tentative)
Final: Dec. 10th, 8:30pm – 11:00pm
Homework: problem-solving assignments every 1.5 week
Final course grade will be determined by a weighted average of below
