This program is a self-paced incentivized opportunity for students to stay engaged in learning throughout the summer.
When?
All students that complete their weekly math and reading activities will be entered to win weekly PRIZES and a Grand Prize at the end of the summer!

Students in grades K-8 will use Dreambox for Math and Sora for Reading.

What will my child need to complete to be entered in the weekly raffle?
K-8th Grade Students:
2 hours per week in SORA = 1 Raffle Ticket
10 lessons in Dreambox = 1 Raffle Ticket
9-11th Grade Students:
2 hours per week in SORA = 1 Raffle Ticket
2 hours completing coursework in Khan academy = 1 Raffle Ticket
This should equate to about 15-20 minutes of math and 15-20 minutes of reading practice each day.
How will I know if my K-8 child completed the 10 Dreambox lessons math?
Dreambox offers a parent portal to access a weekly progress snapshot.
You can sign up for this option by clicking on the setup parent access link in the bottom right corner of the screen when your child is logged in to Dreambox.
How do I find out if I've won a prize?
Raffle winners will be announced weekly on the Lake Forest School District Facebook page and the district will call winners and arrange pickup of prizes at the Central Business Office.
What kind of prizes will be raffled?
Weekly raffle tickets will be drawn and winners will have the chance to win gift cards, entrance tickets to the Delaware State Fair, Killens Pond State and Water Park Tickets and MORE!
At the end of the program, there will be 10 grand prize winners that will be drawn at random! The more weeks you meet your reading and math goals, the more opportunities you will have to win! Grand Prizes could include a Nintendo Switch, Chromebook, Smart TV, Family 4 pack of tickets to Hershey Park or Six Flags... just to name a few!
