Photos & Videos for Teaching Science

Visuals significantly improve our ability to understand science concepts. I recommend that science educators develop directories of images and videos that can be used in instruction to illustrate the scientific principles they teach. Images from the science teacher's personal experiences are particularly valuable, because they can be discussed from a first-person perspective. I am in the process of developing this site so that I can access photos and videos that I have taken that illustrate scientific principles. I am also including photos that other family members have taken as well as excellent photos collected from NASA and other sources.
