Socialpilot Review
The Best Platform to Manage Your Socials?
The Best Platform to Manage Your Socials?
Would you like to have something to help you manage one or more social media accounts?
Would you like to know if Socialpilot is legit and worth your money?
Well, today in this article we’ll answer both these questions
I’ll explain to you everything you need to know very in-depth, so at the end of the article you’ll be a complete expert of this field and you’ll be able to take your own decision with the right information at your disposal
Many of you might already know Socialpilot, but for those who don’t know what it is, basically, it’s a social media marketing automation tool that helps you to schedule and analyzes your social media marketing activities to increase your efficiency and your reach.
On this blog, we talked a lot about Instagram growth and running a business on this platform, but all these tasks, if performed manually, could take a lot of time
So, if you’re using one or more social media accounts, or maybe you have a Social Media Marketing Agency, using external software could help you save a lot of time and be more efficient in all the tasks that you have to complete
And here comes in place Socialpilot
Socialpilot claims to be the best platform to reach your social media marketing goals without paying for high-ticket premium plans that eat a big chunk of your profits
I was running a few Instagram theme pages and the social accounts for my business and I needed a platform to manage all of this, so I tried many of them over the years
I used for a long time Hootsuite, but I was tired of paying so much for their service, so I started looking around and I found Socialpilot
They probably offer the least expensive pricing plans over all other platforms, together with a lot more features and possibilities, but, are they really good as they claim, or are they scammers that provide low-quality services?
I tried Social Pilot for about 9 months to have a complete and detailed overview, and here’s my honest review
SocialPilot is a cloud-based social media marketing and analytics solution for businesses, especially for start-ups, small and medium-size and marketing agencies who need access to multiple social networks to manage their marketing campaign effectively, without paying for high-ticket plans
It offers calendar management, branding, scheduling, client management, reporting functionalities within a suite
Android and iOS apps are available.
SocialPilot integrates with social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, and Pinterest.
The software features bulk scheduling, which allows users to create and schedule posts across different social media accounts from a single portal.
SocialPilot also offers a calendar feature, which allows users to track social media posts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Users can apply filters to the calendar and view posts by accounts and groups.
The calendar interface allows users to drag and drop posts to reschedule them.
Users can also track metrics for the performance of social media campaigns for each website, such as content engagement, audience growth, demographics, influencers, and competitors.
But the most important question remains: is Socialpilot legit or not?
Let’s find out
But I won't just say if it’s legit or not: I’ll go very in-depth showing you all the features, the pros and cons of this platform, the pricing, and the reviews of real people that are using this platform
You can save time with bulk scheduling: having the ability to write everything out on a spreadsheet and then upload it into the platform with a click of a button, having all of your content in the right place, on the right date, and on the right time it’s a real time-saver
You don't have to write the same content for your different social media, whatever it is Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook: you can use a single spreadsheet and then upload the same thing on as many platforms as you want
This is really useful if, for example, you run a business and you have 5/10 different social media account and you don’t want to waste your time posting the same photo with the same caption all over your accounts
With Socialpilot you can post hundreds of posts across different social media in a matter of minutes!
You can easily do it with only 1 click, saving a lot of time and allowing you to focus on more important things
It’s connected with Unsplash: having high-quality photos is fundamental on every social media platform, so Socialpilot has added a direct connection with one of the largest free copyright photos and videos provider
It means that you can download the photos or the videos that you need for your posts directly within the app for Free, and you can use these images without worrying about the copyright and the commercial use
Very user friendly: the app is really easy to use and intuitive, you just need to put in your information from all your social media accounts where you wanna access and then Socialpilot will do the rest
It will notify you of all the message that you receive across your socials, the views and the engagement that your content receives, everything you need to always stay on track without continuously switching over your accounts
Training area: they care so much about people that they even provide a training area full of content
From the ebooks to learn everything you need about social media, to the videos created by domain experts, business leaders, and marketing gurus, up to the live webinars to learn and interact with social media marketing experts
This is something I love about Socialpilot, because they provide it for free for everyone, so if you want to check it out, you only need to click here and then click on “resources” on the top
The browser extension and the app: both these features allow you to use the software even without logging into your web account, but you simply need to go over your chrome extension or your app
It allows you to save time and control your socials accounts even if you’re at home, at the restaurant, or on the go
Awesome customer service: their customer service is one of the best that I’ve ever tried and it’s something they care so much about: any minor issue is always handled promptly
Unlike many other platforms, they reply to you very fast, generally within 4 hrs, regardless of which subscription plan you have, when many competitors reply to you in 1-2 business days unless you have purchased the most expensive plan
Instead, the Socialpilot team focus a lot more on the help center trying to provide the best service as fast as possible, even if you have a small problem or you don’t understand something
I really appreciate that because it shows that they really care about their clients, unlike other platforms that only care about their profits and support only big brands and influencers, neglecting most of the small businesses and social media agencies that use their services
The last and probably the most awesome pros of Socialpilot is the pricing: they offer really friendly pricing plans, affordable for almost everyone
They have probably the least expensive subscription plans, compared with what they provide
But, which feature do they provide, and most importantly, are these features valuable and useful?
We’ll talk about that in just a second
Here what I don’t really like about Socialpilot
The occasional glitches: from time to time there are some bugs on the platform, but if something doesn’t work you can easily contact customer support and they will reply to you as quick as possible
One day I troubled to access my account, so I contacted them and they made my issues a priority, following up to make sure everything was working properly for me.
So, if sometimes you have a problem or maybe the platform has a bug, contact them and they’ll solve it very quickly
Watsapp for businesses is not available at the moment, but I hope they'll add this feature very soon because it’s something that I’d personally use a lot and I’d really appreciate it
So, now that you know the pros and cons of Socialpilot, let’s talk about the features that provide:
Connect and manage 50+ accounts: it depends on your subscription plans, but you can have more than 50 accounts and start posting on each social networks from one unified social media scheduling tool
You can also schedule a single post multiple times across your social networks to help you save even more time
You can analyze, monitor, and report your social performance: Socialpilot provides a powerful but easy to use social media analytics tool to improve your social media performance and efficiency
Knowing what you are doing, if your strategy is working, and understanding where you can improve is fundamental, whether you’re a business, a freelancer, an influencer, or an agency
With the insight that Socialpilot provides, you can see your content performance and the posts that engage your audience the most, you can discover your audience insights, find top influencers that can drive engagement on your behalf, and so on.
Also, you can find the best time to post to have the absolute best results
In the end, you can export all data into a presentable PDF report with a single click for free, when most of the other platforms charge you each time you use this feature and then directly share it to your clients or colleagues from the Analytics tab
The social inbox: here you can see and reply to your comments, your messages, and posts across Facebook pages from one place, you don’t have to log in on each page that you manage
Here you can moderate all pages and have a conversation in real-time
Team management: with Socialpilot you can manage your social media tasks together with your team
You can assign the right roles to your colleagues based on their levels, such as Admin, Manager, or Content Creator, limiting or modifying the access to only those accounts that the team members should work on
This will allow them to focus more on what they need to work on, without worrying about what other accounts are doing
Also, inside Socialpilot you can enable Managers and Content Creators to create a workflow, where the creators edit the posts and schedule them and then wait for the approval of the manager for the post to be published
This allows you to hire freelancers or interns as Content Creators in your team because their work will be reviewed by you or your Manager before getting published
Creating such a workflow you’ll reduce errors and misunderstanding and you’ll be able to create a Socialpilot’s Social Calendar to manage your team and never run out of content
There are many other functionalities, but it’s all explained in their complete tutorials, these are just the ones that I use the most to manage my team
Content creation and discovery: by using the research tool of Socialpilot you can search as many keywords as you want to get evergreen and relevant content from across the web directly to your account
You’ll never run out of content, and you’ll be able to find the trending and most viral topics at the moment before your competitors
Jump on these new trends and your social media accounts will explode: create your content based on your research and then schedule it on your list to let it reach your target audience
Boost Facebook post: you’re able to directly boost your best Facebook posts directly from the Socialpilot dashboard and expand your brand’s reach
I don’t really recommend this feature because, as I talked about in another article, if you simply promote a post, whether, on Facebook or Instagram, you’re leaving so many opportunities on the table
It would prefer to start a campaign on your Facebook manager because you’ve much more flexibility or simply hire someone on Fiverr for a few bucks to do the work for you
Social media calendar: this awesome feature helps you to visualize your social media strategy
Socialpilot’s calendar tool helps you keep track of your posts on various accounts, helping you manage all your social media platforms very easily
Bulk scheduling: this is probably one of my favorite features because it allows you to post up to 500 posts for upcoming weeks or months, ideal if you don’t want to stress about your socials media content day by day
Obviously, you can edit, delete or move posts if you change your mind, but this single option will save you a lot of time and stress because it'll allow you to plan your content and don’t about worry about it every single day
So, as you can see, all of these are premium features and, since I’ve implemented them, especially the team management and the bulk posting, our productivity has increased at least by 20%, allowing us to focus more on the content creation and to effectively improving our business
Managing social media account is a really hard task, especially if you’re active on multiple platforms or you are an agency with different social media accounts: using an external platform could be the best investment possible because it leads to more productivity, more efficiency, and, at the of the day, more money
The return on your investment is very high, and for that reason, I highly recommend using a platform to automate most of this process and better organize your work
But, Socialpilot is worth your money?
Or should you use another platform?
Based on my results and the average results that thousands of people, included big brands like BioMedikal Beauté and Capterra have achieved with Socialpilot, I can safely say that this Socialpilot is legit and it’s probably the best platform for value for money out there
They provide awesome and useful features that not only will help you schedule your post (as the bulk scheduling for example) but will help you to manage your work, hire external assistant without risks and improve your social media management, whether you’re an influencer, a business or a Social Media Marketing Agency
Always keep in mind that your content is what will allow you to succeed on any social media platform, but if your content is on point, with Socialpilot you can take your Instagram, your Facebook, your Twitter account, or whatever it is to the next level, with less stress and much more flexibility
Socialpilot has 3 different pricing plans plus the “enterprise” plan which is customized based on your needs
They vary from the basic $25.50 per month up to the $85 of the “Agency” plan: if you pay yearly you can save 15%
My recommendation is to go for the most popular plan, the “small team” plan, because it provides everything you need for a really affordable price when most of the competitors like Hootsuite or Buffer charge you hundreds of dollars and they provide even fewer features
So, unless you’re a Social Media Agency that has a lot of clients, I wouldn’t suggest you buy the Agency plan: instead, if you’re a business, an influencer or you run one or more Instagram theme pages, I highly recommend you to go for the most popular option because in my opinion, it's the best bang for your bucks
You can also require a 14-day free trial with no credit card required to test the awesome functionality of Socialpilot with no risks at all: I promise you won’t regret it!
Signing up for Socialpilot is a straightforward process: if you want you can sign up for a 14-day free trial by clicking here
Then you’ll arrive at the official home page and here you can claim your free trial by clicking on “Start your free trial”
Then you’ll be redirected to the pricing page and here you can choose your plan: my suggestion is to try the plan that you’re most interested in, so don’t just use the “Agency” plan if you’re more interested in buying the “small team”
Once you choose your plan, you’ll be redirected to another page: here you’ll have to fill in your personal information and press sign up or simply sign up with Facebook
They may ask you to confirm your email address: if you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox maybe check your Spam folder or control if you’ve written the email right
Then you’ll be able to access the platform and if you don’t understand something they have a full training that walks you through step-by-step all you need to know to use the platform properly
Instagram and social media platforms, in general, don’t like bots and third-party apps, so is it safe to use Socialpilot on your accounts?
The short answer is: YES
Socialpilot is not considered a bot or a dangerous third party app by the algorithms of all social media platforms, so use this type of software won’t affect all your accounts and, with thousands of satisfied clients, including Walmart and the USarmy, you won’t have any trouble at all
They provide one of the highest quality services in the spaces and, even if they are relatively new, they are the main competitors of the older platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer, so they won’t run away with your money or scam you
Also, their platform is safe and protected and no one will ever steal your Social Media account login details, as well as your credit card or your bank account details, so you don’t have to worry about that at all!
I’ve used this platform for almost a year and their professionality is a guarantee, especially thanks to their incredibly quick customer service
Plus, their pricing plans are affordable and honest, and they even offer you a 14 days trial completely for free!
But, what do other people say about Socialpilot?
I’ve searched over the internet and I found these reviews, check them out
They are 100% real and most of them are positive and this is something that I really appreciate because it means that the platform is providing real value to people
The main competitors of Socialpilot are basically 3:
Hootsuite
Sendible
Buffer
But I won’t make a comparison of these platforms, because if you go to the official page of Socialpilot here and you scroll a little bit down, you’ll see that they’ve already made a full, honest and free comparison of all the platforms
You only need to click on the button “compare Hootsuite” for example and then they will compare all the features and the pricing plans of both software
This is something that I haven’t see many times, and I appreciate it because it shows how much they trust in their product and in what they offer that they don’t fear competition
So, I won’t replicate the comparison of the platforms because they’ve already created a fully detailed confrontation that you can check out here
Managing multiple social media account, whether you’re a business, an influencer, or an Agency could be really hard and stressful: you have to complete different tasks, create content for all your socials, reply to the comments and the messages from each platform and you could also have to manage your team
Well, Socialpilot’s goal is to remove all the stress and to save your time by managing all your accounts on one single platform
Here you can:
add as many accounts as your subscription plan allows from different social media platforms
schedule your posts (up to 500 posts for the next month)
study your social media analytics
have white-label PDF reports
engage effectively with the social inbox
manage effectively your team and your clients all in one place
You don’t have to pay for different software: all you need is one single platform
My experience, as well as the ones of thousands of other clients, has been really positive, especially because Socialpilot allows you to organize your work better, not be confused, and have everything you need in one place
Plus, their pricing plans are very honest, giving you the absolute best value for money possible
I’ve been using this platform for a while and I improved so much the social presence of my business
Now I spend less time managing my social accounts thanks to Socialpilot, I can outsource many tasks to freelancers using the team management feature with no risk, I can bulk schedule my posts for the next month and I can focus more on my actual business
So, I highly suggest you try this platform, especially because they offer a 14-day free trial that you can claim here, so you’ve nothing to lose here
