Summary: Insomnio collects no data. Everything runs on your Mac and nothing leaves it. The only personal data we ever receive is what you send us yourself if you contact support.
What Insomnio does on your Mac
Insomnio keeps your Mac from sleeping using macOS power features. For the automatic Insomnio Pro features it checks, always on your Mac: which apps are open (to stay awake while you use the ones you choose), how much data is arriving over the network (only the total amount, never its content or origin, to tell whether a download is in progress), and the battery level and whether the Mac is plugged in (for battery protection).
What is stored on your Mac
Your settings (durations, schedule, keyboard shortcut, battery options) and the identifiers of the apps you choose are stored in the app's private storage on your Mac. The widget only receives whether Insomnio is on and how much time is left. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
What Insomnio does not do
• It sends nothing anywhere and has no server of its own.
• It does not look at the content of your network traffic, your files or what you do in other apps.
• It has no accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking.
• It includes no third-party code or SDKs: it only uses components built into the system.
• It does not share or sell data, because it does not collect any.
Apple and the App Store
The Insomnio Pro purchase is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. The app only asks Apple whether you have Insomnio Pro; we never see your payment details. Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example downloads, or crash reports if you agreed to share them). We do not receive any data that identifies you.
Support
If you write to us through the support form or by email, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and use them only to answer you. The form is a Google Form, so the replies are stored in Google Forms and our Google account, and emails in our mailbox; Google acts as our service provider. We keep them while we deal with your request and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We process them because you ask us to answer you. This is separate from the app: Insomnio itself sends us nothing.
This website
This page is hosted on Google Sites. We add no analytics or advertising to it. Like any web service, Google may log technical data about a visit (for example the IP address) in order to operate the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
Insomnio is not directed at children, and the app does not collect data from anyone, including minors.
Your rights
Insomnio keeps no data about you on any server. If you have contacted support, you can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your messages by writing to dev.novalabs@icloud.com.
Changes to this policy
If it ever changes, we will publish the new version here with its date. If a future version of the app were to collect data, we would tell you in the app first.

Qué hace Insomnio en tu Mac
Insomnio evita que tu Mac entre en reposo usando las funciones de energía de macOS. Para las funciones automáticas de Insomnio Pro comprueba, siempre en tu Mac: qué apps están abiertas (para mantenerlo despierto mientras uses las que elijas), cuántos datos llegan por la red (solo la cantidad total, nunca su contenido ni su origen, para saber si hay una descarga en curso) y el nivel de batería y si está enchufado (para la protección de batería).
Qué se guarda en tu Mac
Tus ajustes (duraciones, horario, atajo de teclado, opciones de batería) y el identificador de las apps que elijas se guardan en el almacenamiento privado de la app en tu Mac. El widget solo recibe si Insomnio está activo y el tiempo que queda. Nunca se envía nada a ningún sitio. Si eliminas la app, se borran con ella.
Lo que Insomnio no hace
• No envía nada a ningún sitio ni tiene servidor propio.
• No mira el contenido de tu tráfico de red, tus archivos ni lo que haces en otras apps.
• No tiene cuentas, publicidad, analíticas ni seguimiento.
• No incluye código ni SDK de terceros: solo usa componentes del propio sistema.
• No comparte ni vende datos, porque no los recopila.
Apple y la App Store
La compra de Insomnio Pro la gestiona Apple según su propia política de privacidad. La app solo le pregunta a Apple si tienes Insomnio Pro; nunca vemos tus datos de pago. Apple puede ofrecernos estadísticas agregadas y anónimas (por ejemplo, descargas o cierres inesperados si has aceptado compartirlos). No recibimos datos que te identifiquen.
Soporte
Si nos escribes por el formulario de soporte o por email, recibimos el nombre, el email y el mensaje que nos envías, y solo los usamos para responderte. El formulario es de Google Forms, así que las respuestas se guardan en Google Forms y en nuestra cuenta de Google, y los emails en nuestro buzón; Google actúa como nuestro proveedor. Los conservamos mientras atendemos tu consulta y hasta 12 meses después, salvo que nos pidas borrarlos antes. Los tratamos porque tú nos pides que te respondamos. Esto es aparte de la app: Insomnio en sí no nos envía nada.
Esta web
Esta página está alojada en Google Sites. No le añadimos analíticas ni publicidad. Como cualquier servicio web, Google puede registrar datos técnicos de la visita (por ejemplo, la dirección IP) para funcionar y protegerse de abusos.
Menores
Insomnio no está dirigida a niños, y la app no recopila datos de nadie, tampoco de menores.
Tus derechos
Insomnio no guarda ningún dato tuyo en ningún servidor. Si has contactado con soporte, puedes pedirnos en cualquier momento que consultemos, corrijamos o borremos tus mensajes escribiendo a dev.novalabs@icloud.com.
Cambios en esta política
Si algún día cambia, publicaremos aquí la nueva versión con su fecha. Si una futura versión de la app recopilara datos, te lo diríamos antes en la propia app.
