EDC has developed 5 science curriculum units aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. These grades 1 and 4 units are based on EDC’s popular Insights elementary program, revised to directly highlight the NGSS Science and Engineering Practices and Crosscutting Concepts, paying particular attention to activities that support and promote computational thinking. These newly developed units include activities in which science content and practices are designed to be mutually reinforcing and to lead to deep science learning.
Our goal is to help you provide rigorous and engaging hands-on activities for your young students to learn — and do — science.
