The Unstoppable Journey:

Pio Hannibal Delima's 2016 Tour Triumph

"At just 16 years old 😂, I became the youngest ever to complete this grueling tour. It was a true test of mind over matter. We faced relentless weather—rain, heat, and more rain—while riding non-stop from night to morning, then from noon to evening, and back to night again. It was the most exhausting event I’ve ever experienced.

But the glory made it all worth it. Sharing this moment with my dad, as we rode together on the same team and chased down the lead pack through four municipalities, was incredible. The effort was immense, but the sense of accomplishment was even greater."

— Pio Hannibal Delima, Insane Tour 2016 Champion (MTB), completed the tour in 26 hours.

2015 Champion Story:

Efren Librea’s 30-Hour Insane Tour Feat

"I became the champion of the Insane Tour in 2015 at the age of 45. It took me 30 hours.

I started biking to work in 2005. Then I met Clovis and Bal, and that's how I joined AMTA. I joined AMTA’s first Insane Tour in 2013, but I almost didn’t survive it because of the extreme fatigue and drowsiness. That was my experience in my first Insane Tour. "

— Efren Librea, Insane Tour 2015 Champion (MTB), completed the tour in 30 hours.
