Privacy Policy for Input Maintenance

Input Maintenance respects your privacy. The app is designed to help you organize vehicle maintenance, repair, mileage, and expense information while keeping your saved records on your device.

Information We Collect

Input Maintenance does not require you to create an account.

We do not operate a server that collects or stores the vehicle maintenance information you enter into the app.

Information you enter may include:

• Vehicle information

• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

• Current mileage

• Maintenance records

• Repair records

• Vehicle expenses

• Service dates

• Service locations or shop names

• Notes associated with vehicle records

Your saved vehicle and maintenance records are stored locally on your device.

VIN Lookup

Input Maintenance provides a VIN lookup feature to make adding a vehicle easier.

When you choose to perform a VIN lookup, the VIN you enter is transmitted over the internet to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) vehicle information service so that available information about the vehicle can be retrieved.

This communication is necessary for the VIN lookup feature to function.

Input Maintenance does not operate the NHTSA service. Information transmitted to NHTSA may be subject to NHTSA and the U.S. Department of Transportation's applicable privacy practices and policies.

Local Data Storage

Vehicle records created in Input Maintenance are stored locally on your device using Apple's local data-storage technologies.

Input Maintenance does not operate a cloud database or remote server for storing your maintenance, repair, mileage, or expense records.

Deleting the app may result in the deletion of locally stored app data.

Accounts

Input Maintenance does not require registration, login credentials, or an Input Maintenance account.

Advertising

Input Maintenance does not currently include third-party advertising.

Analytics and Tracking

Input Maintenance does not currently use third-party advertising trackers or analytics SDKs to track users across apps or websites.

Selling of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not sell your vehicle maintenance or repair records.

Data Sharing

Input Maintenance does not share your locally stored maintenance, repair, mileage, expense, or notes data with advertisers or data brokers.

When you intentionally use VIN lookup, the VIN is transmitted to NHTSA for the purpose of retrieving vehicle information as described above.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Input Maintenance's features, data practices, or legal requirements change.

Any updated version will include a revised effective date. Continued use of the app following an update to this Privacy Policy constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
