In 2025, the competition arena is simulated as a production line in a toy donut factory. Each team's main mission is: To design, build, and program an autonomous robot to handle donuts on a conveyor belt. The (hypothetical) production process requires the robot to demonstrate its ability to select, grab, sort by color, assemble, in the assembly area, and store correctly and quickly in the storage area.
