Innovedex 2023

Background of the 2023 Project

Innovedex is a combination of the words “Innovation,” “Experimentation,” and “Education,” reflecting the project’s focus on enhancing the innovative capabilities of youth through hands-on learning in robotics and automation. This initiative responds to the growing need for human resources that will drive the country towards technological and economic advancement through innovation.

The Innovedex project began in 2019 through a collaboration between Debsirin School and TKK Corporation Co., Ltd. It has garnered significant interest from youth, who have effectively utilized the knowledge and experience gained from the project in their further studies in fields related to robotics and automation.

When participating in the Innovedex project, youth are given the opportunity to train with specially designed content and learning tools for programming robots and extending this knowledge to develop other automated systems. Additionally, Innovedex provides youth with the chance to engage in a community of learners who share similar interests and to meet leading experts in the robotics and automation industries in Thailand. This exposure greatly benefits their success in learning about robotics and automation.

Objectives

• To develop the capabilities of youth in robotics and automation.

• To provide youth with opportunities to create innovations through experimentation in robotics and automation.

• To offer youth the chance to network with others who share an interest in robotics and automation.

Target Group

• The target group includes 30 teams of lower secondary students and 30 teams of upper secondary students. Each team consists of one teacher as the team supervisor and three students, making a total of 240 participants, including both teachers and students.
