It is unfortunate that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the 2020 project activities to come to a halt, preventing the planned regional activities from taking place.
According to the National Strategy for the 20-year period (2017 - 2036), there is a mandate to reform education and learning. This involves allowing civil society organizations and the private sector to participate in providing inclusive and quality education to develop people of all ages by promoting lifelong learning. The strategy aims to build an innovative society, drive research and development towards commercial use, and instill good values and conscience. This aligns with defining the essential competencies of individuals in the 21st century.
Based on these principles, Innovedex has collaborated with the Anti-Corruption Foundation, with support from the Ministry of Education and MCOT, to organize a youth-level autonomous robot competition. This competition, held under the “Innovedex” project, is now in its second year. It aims to prepare youth to be both talented and virtuous, fostering a workforce that is ready for the changing world.
To instill in Thai youth the values of integrity and ethics in fair academic skill competitions.
To promote programming skills for controlling autonomous robots among Thai youth.
