Inkscape

I want to add a new .gpl palette to Inkscape so that it's available in all my projects like other system palettes. This is normally achieved by adding the .gpl file to the palettes folder in the Inkscape install but this isn't possible as snaps are installed with a read only file system. I've have tried creating the palette folder in all the places the non-snap version of Inkscape would look (/usr/share/inkscape/palettes etc...) and in various places in ~/snap/inkscape/.... but no luck. Where should I put my new .gpl palette file?

I am using inkscape to create svg. Later I am going animate drawing that svg path in a website using vivus.js.Problem is I have no control over the starting node of the path in inkscape. To make myself clear, suppose I want to animate drawing of the following characte's svg path created in inkscape:

You can download most visualizations from QZVs as SVG or PNG files that can be loaded in inkscape/illustrator/affinity designer etc. Beyond that I think the tutorials for editing plots will rather be specific to the editor.

I will look again into the tutorials for inkscape. I wasn't able to change the background color for the PCoA and add the labels. I was hoping someone who uses qiime2 had some insight.

However, I have some weird behavior of code when pasting it into your figure extension in inkscape.

It works fine in my usual IDE (Pycharm) but it gives an error message when copy and pasted exactly as is into the object description. Can you tell me why?

So I know this isn't 100% ignition related but I have scoured the interwebs with no success.
