Emergence of non-reciprocal hydrodynamic transport in driven-dissipative quantum wires.
Rupak Bag, Dibyendu Roy
In this talk, I will discuss the non-equilibrium transport of particles through a quantum wire, using the Heisenberg-Langevin open quantum description. The wire features a "gain and loss" medium when actively driven by multiple source-drain (S-D) reservoirs. We will particularly focus on the scenario where the D-reservoir extracts the same amount of current that the S-reservoir injects into the wire. This will have a close resemblance with the driven PT-symmetric systems.
