Updates from the Gauribidanur Observatory

Recently, we have been boosting the observational capabilities of the Gauribidanur Observatory. We have conducted extensive broadband RFI monitoring across a wideband. As an outcome, we have identified clean observation bands and developed a prototype interferometry array—students involved in this work's commissioning and software development. The prototype array has been tested through routine observations of strong radio sources and being upgraded. We are also currently discussing establishing an FRB monitoring/out-trigger facility with international collaborators. This talk will briefly overview the observatory's ongoing activities and near-future plans.
