Dual realms of light: Aberration correction in super resolution microscopy

and photonic qutrit generation.

This presentation explores the dual nature of light through two distinct applications: super resolution

microscopy and photonic qutrit generation. In super resolution microscopy, I present an adaptive optics-based fast aberration correction scheme, enhancing image quality by leveraging a novel metric based on fluorescence lifetime and depletion beam intensity. In the realm of quantum technology, I present a novel approach to photonic qutrit generation, offering scalability to higher-dimensional systems. Additionally, I propose a method to quantify entanglement, bypassing the need for exhaustive tomography by analytically relating statistical correlation measures with known entanglement metrics.
