PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how INhab AI (“the App”), developed by Krepel Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”), accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.
By using INhab AI, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. About INhab AI
INhab AI is an Android application that allows users to connect to third-party artificial intelligence providers using their own API keys.
The App does not operate its own artificial intelligence model. AI responses are generated by the external provider and model selected by the user.
Supported services may include OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, OpenRouter, and custom user-configured providers.
2. Information stored locally
Most App data is stored locally on the user’s device. This may include:
• chats and messages;
• prompts and prompt folders;
• projects and project instructions;
• local memory entries;
• selected providers and models;
• generation settings;
• API keys and provider configuration;
• App preferences;
• local backup files;
• Pro entitlement status.
This information remains on the device unless the user chooses to send it to an external AI provider, export it as a local backup, or use another feature that requires transmission.
We do not operate an INhab AI user account system.
3. AI providers and data transmission
When the user sends a message, INhab AI transmits the information required to process the request to the selected AI provider.
Depending on the request, transmitted data may include:
• the user’s message;
• relevant chat history;
• system or project instructions;
• selected local memory context;
• images, documents, or other attachments selected by the user;
• model and generation parameters;
• the API key required to authenticate the request.
The selected AI provider processes this information according to its own terms of service and privacy policy.
INhab AI does not control how third-party AI providers store, retain, use, or process submitted data. Users should review the privacy policy of their selected provider before sending personal, confidential, financial, medical, business, or other sensitive information.
When a custom provider is configured, the user is responsible for verifying the security, reliability, and privacy practices of that provider and endpoint.
4. API keys
API keys entered in INhab AI are used to authenticate requests with the provider selected by the user.
API keys are stored within the App’s local device storage and are not used for any unrelated purpose.
Users are responsible for protecting their API keys, monitoring provider usage, and removing or replacing compromised credentials.
5. Images, documents, and attachments
The App may allow users to select images, documents, and other files from their device.
Files are accessed only after the user selects them. Selected files may be sent to the chosen AI provider when required to complete the user’s request.
We do not independently upload selected files to a Krepel Studio server.
6. Advertising
The free version of INhab AI displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process information such as:
• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• device and advertising identifiers;
• App interactions and advertisement interactions;
• diagnostic and performance information;
• information used for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.
Where required by applicable law, INhab AI uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent.
Advertising data is processed by Google according to Google’s own privacy policies and advertising policies.
Users who purchase INhab AI Pro will not be shown advertisements in the App.
7. Google Play purchases
INhab AI offers an optional one-time Pro purchase through Google Play Billing.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store full payment card information.
The App may receive and locally store information necessary to determine whether the Pro purchase is active, such as purchase status and product entitlement.
Google processes purchase information according to its own privacy policy.
8. Local backup and restore
Pro users may create local backup files containing supported App data.
Backup files are created and stored in a location selected by the user. Users are responsible for protecting, transferring, storing, and deleting their backup files.
Deleting the App does not automatically delete backup files stored outside the App’s private storage.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell users’ personal data.
Information may be transmitted or shared only:
• with the AI provider selected by the user;
• with Google services used for advertising, consent management, and purchases;
• when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
• when necessary to protect users, the App, or our legal rights.
10. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored chats, prompts, projects, memory, provider settings, and other App data remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears the App’s storage, or uninstalls the App.
Users can remove supported data using the available deletion controls inside the App.
Users can delete all locally stored App data through Android system settings by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.
Local backup files remain until the user manually deletes them.
Information sent to third-party AI providers, Google AdMob, or Google Play may be retained according to the respective third party’s privacy policy and retention rules.
Because INhab AI does not provide user accounts or store user content on a Krepel Studio account server, there is no separate online account deletion process.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical measures and Android platform security mechanisms to protect locally stored App data.
Built-in provider connections use secure network connections where supported. Security and encryption for custom provider endpoints depend on the endpoint configured by the user.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should avoid submitting highly sensitive information unless they understand and accept the privacy practices of the selected AI provider.
12. Children’s privacy
INhab AI is not designed for or directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information should contact us.
13. AI-generated content
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or misleading.
Users should independently verify important information and should not rely solely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.
14. Third-party services
The App may use or connect to third-party services, including:
• Google AdMob;
• Google User Messaging Platform;
• Google Play Billing;
• OpenAI;
• Google AI services;
• Anthropic;
• xAI;
• OpenRouter;
• providers and endpoints configured by the user.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s functionality, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
