International Women's Day celebrates the late, Susan Oliver, who was a household name in the 1960's for her work as an actress -- most notably as the "Green Girl" in the hit TV series Star Trek. Although her career in television and film spanned for more than 30-years, from the 1950's to the 1980's, she was never regarded as an "A lister."

Producer and Director, George Pappy, became interested in learning about Oliver's career because of her Star Trek role. After further investigation, he became more intrigued by her background and accomplishments.

Girl with Green Eyes is a 1964 British romantic drama film directed by Desmond Davis and starring Peter Finch, Rita Tushingham, Lynn Redgrave and Julian Glover. Adapted by Edna O'Brien from her novel The Lonely Girl, the film tells the story of a young, naive country girl's romance with a sophisticated older man. As the film is in black and white the green eyes are never seen.

Anyways, I vaguely remember the story. I think it was about a green-feathered chick trying to play and eat with his friends and siblings, but they either reject him or he thinks that he is being rejected which leads him to escape from the barn. However, because he didn't know where to go, he ended up in a some kinda desert and came across creatures like bees, a crocodile, and I think a buzzard who wanted to eat him at the end. Thankfully, the little guy ran as fast as he could and escaped from the predator and while he was running, he ended up back in the barn and discovered that everyone was worried about him. The chicks were happy that they saw him again and everyone apologized to each other becoming friends again. At the end of the movie, the actors/puppeteers revealed themselves and turned out to be a bunch of blonde kids.

The rest of her outfits include a mariniere top (to which she wears a pair of Versace sunglasses), a knee-length ladylike green dress and a most suggestive red wrap dress that she wears in her final scene. this is making me want to watch this movie again. i have seen all the bond movies, and there are a lot of them! my son when he was about 8 years old went through a phase where he LOVED james bond. it makes my heart melt remembering that. so james bond movies hold a special place in my heart too. great post! i hope to see more of these movie/fashion posts in the future, how fun! xo

After his retirement, he becomes an RSN presenter, and his HtB logos are replaced with RSN stickers; "Chick Hicks 86" is now written on his hood instead of HtB, some contingency stickers are removed, and a "PRESS" sticker appears near the "Piston Cup" one. In Cars 3, the Lightyear logo on his tires were also replaced by his own name with yellow lettering, Chick Hicks. Also on the bottom of his doors in Cars 3, there is text saying "Former and Forever Piston Cup Champion".

Chick Hicks is a main character in Cars, and a supporting character in Cars 3. He is a green 1979 Shyster Cremlin. He races for the sponsor Hostile Takeover Bank. He is Lightning McQueen's (former) chief rival during the first movie. His nickname is "The Runner-Up", as he seems to always lose to The King.

Parents need to know that Tall Girl 2 (the sequel to 2019's Tall Girl) is tamer than the original and takes the story away from the main character, Jodi (Ava Michelle), being bullied for her height and toward how she grapples with her own insecurities. The film shows that everyone has doubts about making friends, finding an identity or passion, and performing. The diverse cast of teens and family members support each other to be the best versions of themselves. Even mean girl Kimmy (Clara Wilsey) isn't so bad in the sequel, and she learns lessons of kindness, too (though she does suggest slipping a Nyquil into Jodi's smoothie to sabotage her performance in the musical). Although highly talented at racing, Chick Hicks is extremely rude, arrogant, conniving, manipulative, and focused on himself and winning, like McQueen himself, but has grown impatient with losing. He often harasses others with his catchphrase "Ka-chicka." This, along with his ruthless cold-hearted methods, eventually cost him his fans.

When Chick was in the pits, he was in pride till his crew chief told him McQueen went through and told his pit crew to go faster, ending up with him being in the back. He rushed from the back to front to win, and he used his time wisely to win when McQueen lost his tires, but he failed. Chick later comes in after McQueen's pit crew leave. He taunts him, saying that the Piston Cup was his, but McQueen attracted more paparazzi. Later, when the three-way tie scene happens, Chick hosts his plan by telling McQueen whoever gets to California first gets Dinoco all for themselves. Knowing that McQueen wanted to be with Dinoco, he presumably had the Delinquent Road Hazards to keep his driver staying up all night so McQueen may get lost. When McQueen was lost by Chick's plan, the latter steals his fans by stealing how McQueen attracts people and sh-ooze with Dinoco. Later, when McQueen watches Mack's TV, he sees that Chick stole most of his fans, and stole his catchphrase as "Ka-chicka" as well.

The doctor moved to restrain her, but she quickly latches onto his arm and she peers into the mans mind. Using his memories to figure out the color classification and which ability went along with each color. Upon figuring out that she was an orange, Ruby instinctively uses her powers and forces the man to change her classification to green. The doctor follows her order and changes her color classification. He puts her down as a green with an enhanced intelligence. Ruby is placed into Cabin 27, which is the first empty cabin for female greens. Ruby was ironically very lucky, since she was a part of the second group of collected kids. The first group was placed in the experimentation group, and were used to find information and potentially a cure for the psi's abilities.

Ruby quickly becomes best friends with Sam, the green girl with a perfect memory placed in her cabin. The pair are best friends until an argument breaks out between the pair and Ruby accidentally removes Sam's memories of Ruby. Sam becomes best friends with another girl in her cabin, Vanessa, and Ruby goes on to not speak for eight months. The girls in cabin 27 do not figure out what happened to Sam, or what Ruby really is, until the end of the Afterlight.

She wakes up sometime later in the infirmary, where her hands are velcroed to the bed. Catherine "Cate" Connor is sitting next to her. When Ruby wakes up, Cate removes her handcuffs, and cleans her face of blood. Cate tells Ruby to call her Cate and skip the doctor business. Catherine then flat out asks about how Ruby's color selection process went. Ruby becomes worried that Thurmond knows that she's actually orange, not a green. After Cate leaves Ruby's room, Ruby discovers a note telling her that her bad reaction to the calm control means that the PSF's know she isn't green and is going to execute her tomorrow. Under the note is a package of two pills that Ruby slips in her bra. She then shoves the note in her mouth.
