    Information Processes and Technology (IPT) is a subject that explores how information systems are designed, developed and used in various contexts. It covers topics such as data, information processes, information systems, project management, social and ethical issues, and emerging technologies. IPT is a challenging and rewarding subject that develops students' skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.

    The IPT HSC Course is the second year of study for students who have completed the IPT Preliminary Course in Year 11. The IPT HSC Course consists of a core component and four optional components. The core component covers the following topics:
