Google Analytics for Firebase

Advertising ID (Ad ID) — a platform advertising identifier.

Display relevant advertisements (personalized or non-personalized based on user choice).

Data Usage:
Advertising ID: We (and AdMob) may collect the Android Advertising ID (Ad ID) to provide and measure ads. AdMob receives advertising identifiers and may combine them with other data under Google’s policies. You may opt out of personalized advertising using your device or Google ad settings.
Firebase Crashlytics
Data Collected:
Crash logs and diagnostic data (stack traces, device model, OS version, App version).
Purpose of Collection:
Identify and diagnose App crashes and stability issues.

Our App uses specific permissions to ensure smooth functionality. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information from these permissions for purposes other than those stated below.
1. Network & Connectivity
INTERNET
Purpose: Allow network communication.
Why Needed: Required to fetch movie data, images, descriptions, and stream content from servers. Also used to load advertisements and analytics.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Purpose: Check network connection status.
Why Needed: To detect if the device is offline and handle data loading errors gracefully.
2. Notifications (Android 13+)
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Purpose: Permission to display notifications.
Why Needed: To send you important information, required notices, and marketing promotions regarding new movies or TV series updates.
Our App serves as a digital catalog and interface for movie and TV series information.
1. Content Delivery The App connects to external databases/APIs to retrieve metadata (titles, posters, cast, plot summaries) about movies and TV shows. This process requires an active internet connection.
2. User Provided Information For a better experience, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (e.g., if you contact support). The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
3. Privacy & Security Notes
We do not track your precise real-time location.
We do not use the App to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
Communications for content and ads occur over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS).
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We show ads via AdMob/Google Ad Services. These services may use the Advertising ID and other signals to serve personalized ads.
Advertising ID & Device Identifiers: We (and our partners) collect the Android Advertising ID and device identifiers to provide and measure ads. This data is shared with AdMob and other ad partners for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of ad personalization via your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization) or by disabling personalized ads in-app where provided.
Sharing:
Aggregated Data: Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid us in improving the App.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena), or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Trusted Providers: We share information with trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information, and have agreed to adhere to this privacy statement.
Retention:
User Data: We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

Age Restriction: The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers. By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it.
