1. Introduction

At Boby AI, we take your privacy seriously. The app Inflammatory Food Identifier (“the App”) uses artificial intelligence to classify foods as anti-inflammatory, inflammatory, or neutral, based on user-submitted food photos.

This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data.

2. What Data We Collect

The App only collects food photos that you manually upload from your device:

• 📸 Food images that you choose to upload

• No names, email addresses, or personal identifiers are collected.

• No location data is collected.

• The app does not access your camera automatically.

• No user account or login is required.

3. How Your Images Are Processed

• Uploaded food images are temporarily transmitted to a secure cloud server using encrypted HTTPS connection.

• Images are sent to the OpenAI API for food recognition and classification.

• The App returns a classification result:
  → "Good" (anti-inflammatory)
  → "Middle" (neutral)
  → "Bad" (inflammatory)

• After processing, images are immediately deleted and are never stored or reused.

⛔ We do NOT store your images on our servers.
⛔ We do NOT use your images for AI model training or any sharing.

4. History & App Data

• The classification result (Good, Middle, Bad) is saved locally on your device so you can view your previous classifications in the App’s “History” screen.

• No images are saved — only the result text and time of the classification.

• The history data remains only on your device and is not sent to any server.
  
  

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

• OpenAI API

  • Purpose: Image understanding & food classification

  • Data sent: Temporarily your uploaded food image

  • Retention: No data is stored by OpenAI after processing

  • No personal identifiers are transmitted.

6. Data Retention & Security

• No user images or personal data are stored on our servers.

• All processing happens in real time.

• No background data collection, no analytics, and no user tracking is used.
  
  

7. Your Rights & Control

• You have full control:

  • No account is needed.

  • No user registration required.

  • Closing the app terminates all processing.

  • You can delete the local history anytime within the app.
    
    

8. Children’s Privacy

• The App is not designed for users under 13 years old.

• We do not knowingly collect data from children.
  
  

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will appear here with an updated date.
