Last updated: May 9, 2026
InFilm Video Player is an Android application developed by Krepel Studio.
This Privacy Policy explains how InFilm Video Player handles user data, device permissions, advertising, in-app purchases, and local video access.
1. General information
InFilm Video Player is a local video player for Android. The app is designed to help users find, organize, and play video files stored on their device.
The app does not require account registration and does not ask users to create a profile.
2. Data collected by the app
InFilm Video Player itself does not collect, store, or send personal user data to our own servers.
The app works mainly with local video files stored on the user’s device. Video files, folders, playback progress, and app settings are processed locally on the device.
We do not upload users’ videos, video names, folders, subtitles, or media files to our servers.
3. Local video access
InFilm Video Player requires access to video files on the device in order to display and play local videos.
Depending on the Android version, the app may request one of the following permissions:
- READ_MEDIA_VIDEO on Android 13 and newer
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 12 and older
These permissions are used only to find and play video files stored on the device.
The app does not request access to photos, audio files, contacts, microphone, camera, location, SMS, call logs, or full file management permissions.
4. Playback progress and app settings
InFilm Video Player may save playback progress, selected settings, decoder mode, language, theme, and other app preferences locally on the device.
This information is used only to improve the user experience, for example to continue watching a video from the last position.
This data is stored locally and is not sent to our servers.
5. Advertising
InFilm Video Player may show ads in the free version of the app.
Advertising may be provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and other data required to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads.
AdMob data processing is handled by Google according to Google’s own privacy policies and advertising technologies.
Users can manage ad personalization through their Google account or Android device settings.
6. In-app purchases
InFilm Video Player may offer a one-time Pro purchase.
The Pro version may remove ads and may provide additional improvements or features in the future.
All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment card details, banking information, or payment credentials.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play according to Google’s own terms and privacy policies.
7. Pro status
The app may locally store whether the user has activated the Pro version.
This information is used only to unlock Pro-related behavior, such as disabling ads.
The app may check purchase status through Google Play Billing to restore or verify purchases.

InFilm Video Player may use the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob for advertising
