Inês Black

I am a job market candidate at the International Doctorate in Economic Analysis (IDEA), jointly organized by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Institut of Economic Analysis, both academic units of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.

My primary research fields are Labor Economics and Organization Economics using Applied Microeconometric methods. My work includes elements of Personnel and Development Economics. You can find more about my research here.

In my job market paper, I study the role of CEO quality in firm productivity, its connection to CEO and firm observables and the extent to which there are relevant CEO-firm match complementarities in productivity that extend beyond their isolated contributions.

I will be available for interviews at the SAEe meeting in Barcelona, RES PhD Meetings in London and the ASSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.
