Ines Black

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. I am currently on the Job Market and I will be available for interviews at the 2017/18 SAEe meeting in Barcelona, 2017/18 RES PhD Meetings in London and the 2018 ASSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. I expect to graduate from my Ph.D. in June 2018.

My primary research fields are Labor and Organization Economics using Applied Microeconometric and Experimental methods. My work includes elements of Personnel and Business Economics. You can find more about my research here.

In my job market paper, I study the role of CEO quality in firm productivity, its connection to CEO and firm observables and the extent to which there is a significant impact of CEO-firm match complementarities in productivity that extend beyond their isolated contributions.
