Determine the overall concept of the project(s) that you will be accomplishing for your course capstone(s), including:
Overall fit/form/function of the project
Is the project unique, or is it based on an existing idea/project? If based on existing ideas, include citations and references.
Is the project to be completely individually, or will you be working with team members?
If working in a team, how will responsibilities be divided?
What is the
Reminder of Project Requirements:
For your Course Capstone Project, you are tasked with designing, engineering, creating, and documenting an advanced project that integrates most - if not all - of the knowledge, skills, techniques, methods, and workflows learned throughout your course(s) into a culminating project that showcases your full range of capabilities.
Your project can be as simple or complex as you'd like, however...
...the simpler your project is, the more refined/polished/optimized it should be. Conversely...
...the more complex your project is, the more unique/innovative it should be.
Your project can build on the work of others or be entirely of your own design, but should not simply be an execution of a project with a predetermined outcome/plan; no following step-by-step tutorials - make it your own!
You will work closely with your instructor(s) throughout every step of this project. Ensure you do not "skip ahead", as you will be judged based not solely on the outcome, but also the execution and documentation/communication of what/how you've accomplished your work. In other words, if all you have to show at the end is a shiny part, that will not be enough.
